Data Deletion

Thank you for trying Unshredder Me! This page gives instructions regarding how our users can have their data deleted from the app or the platform.

The easiest way to erase any information we hold is to simply delete your profile from within the app on the settings screen.

However, if you've lost access to the app or your device, fill the following form making sure you provide the correct email you used to sign up.

Are you sure you want to permanently delete your account and all associated data?

⚠️ All the challenges you created, competitions you set up, photos you uploaded, and possibly the shares you made to potentially thousands of users (see below) will be deleted.

⚠️ Your user profile and personal data will be deleted.

⚠️ If you have active Google Play and App Store subscriptions, you can reuse it under a new account. But any one-times purchases that you have not used e.g. Matchmaker ticket for setting up competions will be lost.

⚠️ Your app progress, preferences and history will be lost.

Delete accepted challenges too (not recommended)

If you choose to delete accepted challenges by ticking the checkbox above, everyone who accepted any of your challenges will lose their copy, whether it is in progress or completed.

Since this will result in content disappearing from others' accounts (they may have spent time and effort on it), you may not want to do this unless you have strong reason (e.g. accidentally shared sensitive or personal photo. In such a case, a simpler option is to go to the particular challenge and delete it, making sure you tick "Delete accepted challenges" on that screen)

But note that users who have solved the challenges may have already downloaded the completed images.
